Online Dating is nothing new — it has been around forever, but more new sites are popping up every day and with that more and more horror stories are also popping up! Now I don’t know if I could ever do online dating….not that I am against it, but the whole putting it all out there on a profile and flirting via email just bothers me…but if you have had success with it good for you! The latest horror stories are like something out of a Liam Neeson movie! Just recently, a New Haven, Connecticut man was robbed by his ‘date’ from popular dating app Tinder. The victim began chatting with ‘Kristen’ before she invited him to her home. When the victim arrived, he was met by two men, who head locked him and stole his keys, iPhone, wallet and credit cards. The thieves were driving the victim to an ATM to empty his account. He somehow managed to escape and a passerby allowed the victim to call the police on their phone. Police are still investigating.
