While we are on the subject of food, do you know that the Banana is becoming extinct? Scientists are racing to develop new banana varieties strong enough to survive this new “Panama disease”… which is a major threat to banana crops around the world. Because bananas are clones, the disease is able to spread very quickly from one to another. I guess it is running rampant in Asia. In the day and age of crossbreeding and different ways to grow stuff… I don’t think panic is in order…but we couldn’t help but have some fun with this, so the Hawk Musicians put a little something together for us this morning…
