By now a lot of you have heard the story of the 6 year-old girl from Utah named Kaitlin who recently ordered $350 worth of toys from Amazon!!  Kaitlin’s mom allowed her to order a Barbie for her birthday. Kaitlin logged on to Amazon to see when her doll would arrive. She then ordered $350 worth of toys, video games and board games without her mother’s knowledge.  But here’s the cool part… Kaitlin now has donated all of the toys to the Children’s Hospital where she stayed for a week as a baby! Good stuff…

If you are like me, you like to take on multiple ‘do it yourself’ tasks around the house. If you put up a shelf, plaster and paint and feel good about what you have done…you probably then decide to venture into another home repair project you have absolutely no business doing… simply because your skill set only goes so far. I tried electrical wiring once…..once…..this is what I am talking about.  Some of us need to learn the hard way that hiring a pro to do the difficult jobs is better than botching it up yourself! So for all of those guys like me who have no business doing certain home repairs… we crown ourselves this week’s Real American Hero.
