The Fork It Over campaign officially started on Sunday at Queen City BBQ in Allentown. Customers who donate $20 to United Way will receive $10 off their meal. The promotion at Queen City BBQ will run through Thursday, October 4th. It will be followed by the same promotion at The Bayou (at both the Bethlehem and Easton locations) which will begin on Sunday, October 7th and run through Thursday, October 11th. These are our “test” runs; additional dates and restaurants will be scheduled in the future.
Donations from the Fork It Over campaign will support food pantries, nutrition education, healthy food for seniors and the work of the Lehigh Valley Food Policy Council. Starting with the Queen City BBQ campaign, customers can donate HERE or by texting ForkItOver to 40403 and then show the email or confirmation page “receipt” to the server to redeem. The discount must be used on the purchase of one entrée within 30 days of donation.
