It’s not the first time this has happened and I am sure it won’t be the last. You’re with a bunch of friends out drinking and you decide to do something dumb. It happened over the weekend when I got a call from a friend saying they were having a fun party when one of their guests decided to play around and ended up SWALLOWING an AAA battery. How and why I have no idea but down the hatch it went, and being a former paramedic… these geniuses thought I would have the answer. I said off to the ER you go. Like I said it has definitely happened before… and I’m not talking the occasional bug you ingest while bike riding, I’m talking swallowing something because of a dare or the fact that you just want attention.
