Joel is a first time apartment dude and is starting to learn the hard way that apartment life… while convenient… can be a pain! Taking out the garbage from the 3rd floor by steps, stuff breaking and not being fixed quickly or even the dreaded lousy neighbor or bad roommate. I remember one of my first apartments was nice but shortly after I moved in things started breaking. The fridge was the first to go, then dripping pipes and the last straw was when the AC went down in the summer and took two weeks to fix! Then there are those who have taken on a roommate. Now Joel my only advice in this department is unless it is a lifelong friend you trust DON’T DO IT!! Because you can get everything from uncleanly, to theft, to just plain old annoying.
