99.9 The Hawk, McDonald’s, Service Electric, Dutch Springs Aqua Park, Pioneer Pole Buildings, Indian Motorcycle of Allentown and 1-800 Got Junk are proud to participate in Bike Nights at McDonald’s to benefit The Ronald McDonald Camp! Over the last 13 years, we raised over $60,000 for the Ronald McDonald Camp!

Feature your motorcycle in the Service Electric Showcase area, where bikes compete for trophies and McDonald’s Arch Cards. The competition is judged under eight categories; and spectators choose a People's Choice Award.

In 2005, Lehigh Valley McDonald’s owner-operator and motorcycle enthusiast Mike Fountaine founded Bike Nights at McDonald’s to provide a venue for motorcyclists to showcase their bikes and raise money for the Ronald McDonald Camp.  The first Bike Night at McDonald’s was held on July 24, 2005 and the event has grown each year both in the number of participants, sponsors and funds raised for the charity.  Bike Nights at McDonald’s has become the premier Bike Night event in the LehighValley.  Since its inception, Bike Nights at McDonald’s has raised over $58,000.  Fundraising initiatives include: sponsorship packages, the sale of commemorative lapel pins, registration fees for bikes in the judging area, people’s choice donations, and a $1.50 donation from the Owner-Operator for each bike that comes out to the event they host.

In 2017 Bike Nights at McDonald’s proudly entered its 13th year!  Six events took place on Sunday evenings suring this summer at different McDonald’s locations in the Lehigh Valley.  Bikes were judged in (8) eight classes and trophies are awarded for the best bikes.   99.9 The Hawk has been a partner with McDonald’s since the inception of Bike Nights. 99.9 The Hawk was live on location in support of the events along with pre-promotional support leading up to each event.

Major sponsors this year included Service Electric Cable TV and Communications, 1-800-Got-Junk, Pioneer Pole Buildings, Dutch Springs Aqua Park, Indian Motorcylce of Allentown, Harmony Press, Inc. and Gebhardts.  Their loyalty and commitment to these events have enabled Bike Nights at McDonald’s to grow each year.
