HOW TO ENTER/ WINNER SELECTION: Listen each weekday morning from February 6 to February
24, 2012 to Michaels & Layne Morning Show on 99.9 The Hawk. Join the Dark Side and conquer Luke
Skywalker's Lightsaber. The morning show will play Darth Vader's theme while asking a question and when
the listener gives the correct answer, they will qualify to take possession of Luke's Lightsaber at the end of
each week. Everyone that qualifies will receive a qualifying prize of a case of Brisk Tea. Odds of becoming
a Prize winner depend upon the number of call-ins. Station may terminate contest at any time or change
dates and locations in its sole and absolute discretion.
PRIZES: There will be (3) winners that will each receive one (1) Official Star Wars Lightsabers (valued at
$100.00 each). One winner per week.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest open only to legal residents of the U.S. residing in the states of PA & NJ.
Employees of WODE, The Pepsi-Lipton Tea Partnership, its bottlers and distributors, each of their
respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, distributors, suppliers and advertising,
promotional or judging agencies and immediate family members of such employees (parent, child, sibling,
spouse) and persons living in the same household of such employees (whether related or not) are not
eligible to win. If potential prize winner is a minor (e.g. under the age of 18), prize may be awarded to the
minor's parent or legal guardian who must sign all prize acceptance documents assume all responsibilities
of prize winner.
GENERAL: No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-
cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except as determined by WODE in its sole discretion.
Any portion of the prize not accepted by the winner will be forfeited. Void wherever prohibited or restricted
by law. Prize winner will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state and local taxes on
prize; if applicable, winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize. No groups, clubs
or organizations may enter or win prizes. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these
rules and the decisions of WODE which shall be final and binding. Participants are restricted to the use of
ordinary telephone equipment. Participants that enable the "Caller ID" block function may not be allowed
to participate unless they enter their correct area code and telephone number. Station disclaims all liability
for the inability of a participant to complete or continue a telephone call due to equipment malfunction, busy
lines, inadvertent disconnections, acts beyond Station's control, or otherwise. Station disclaims all liability for
any delays, mis-delivery, loss or failure in the delivery of any item sent by mail, courier, express, electronic
transmission, or other delivery method. Station is not responsible for mechanical, technical, electronic,
communications, telephone, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or failures of any kind, including:
failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed transmission of online entries, traffic congestion on telephone lines,
the Internet or at any website or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit an online entrant's
ability to participate in the contest, and any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer
related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in this
contest. Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC stations are not responsible for broken telephone connections, busy
signals, mis-dials or lost phone calls. In event two individuals with the same name call in, only the individual
who is verified by a home address that identically matches the information on the randomly drawn entry,
shall be declared a winner.
WINNER NOTIFICATION: All potential winner(s) will be notified by on-air. Major prize winners will be
required to sign and return to WODE an Affidavit of Eligibility/ Liability Release with (where lawful) a publicity
release within [5] days of first attempt at notification. If any required documents are not returned within the
required number of days, or if mail is returned as undeliverable, without a forwarding address, then prize
may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Winner must personally pick-up prize at WODE
offices at 107 Paxinosa Road West, Easton, PA 18040 between regular business hours of Monday through
Friday from 9am to 5pm within 30 days and present identification for prize to be released. All travel and
transportation costs, if any, associated with collecting the prize, are winner's responsibility.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All entrants, as a condition of participation, and all winners, by acceptance
of a prize, agree to release WODE, The Pepsi-Lipton Tea Partnership, its bottlers and distributors, each
of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, divisions, distributors
and advertising, promotional or judging agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind
whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection
with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to and
from any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in the printing of these Official Rules or
the offering or announcement of any prize. Neither WODE nor The Pepsi-Lipton Tea Partnership make any
representations nor warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, performance or safety of any prize
awarded. Upon request, winners must consent (and confirm such consent in writing) to the use of their
name, voice, picture or other likeness without compensation for promotional purposes as determined by
WODE except for residents in TN and where prohibited by law. Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC and Station
do not warrant any of the products, materials or services that a winner receives. The materials,
services or products that a winner receives are provided “as is.” There may be warranties provided
by the manufacturer of the product, material or service, for which Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC has
no responsibility or duty to perform.
MISCELLANEOUS: Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC reserves the right to change contest rules and/or
dates at any time without additional notice. Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC reserves the right to add
or subtract additional station or stations to this contest at any time. Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC is
considered the “judge.” Judge’s decisions are final. Nassau Broadcasting I, LLC reserves the right
to end and or modify contest at any time without additional notice or further compensation required.
