This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, July 19, from 10am-3pm at the Kettle Creek Environmental Education Center in Bartonsville. Families are invited to come out and have some buggy fun with live critters, displays, games, and take home crafts. All day activities include insect safaris, a butterfly tent, live insects, insect collections, and games. A humorous puppet show about insects will be presented by the “Insects are Us” 4-H club at 11am and again at 1pm. The Insect Olympics will also take place twice at 11:30am and again at 1:30pm. Come dressed as your favorite bug and participate in the Insect Fashion Show before each puppet show.
