Jimmy & the Parrots

On Dec. 27, escape to a warm tropical island at the annual Holiday Parrot Party, presented by Jimmy Buffet tribute band Jimmy & the Parrots. For more than a dozen years, this New Jersey band has been playing to delighted crowds all over the United States and the Caribbean. The group was named the "Entertainer of the Year" at the Trop Rock Music Awards held in Key West, Fla. in 2012 and 2014. Pink Floyd Experience

In 1994, no talent buyer had ever booked a Pink Floyd “cover band” west of the Mississippi River. There was nobody doing it, and nobody asking for it. We were about to change all that. It was time to “put up or shut up”. The help wanted ads went in to The San Diego Reader following Pink Floyd’s “Division Bell Tour” stop in San Diego on April 14th, 1994 at Jack Murphy Stadium. From there Pink Froyd was born.

“Our 90th gala promises to be a total wow!  We guarantee it will be different and fun,” says President & CEO Shelley Brown.  “After all, this is a one-time celebration, and we intend to do it right.  There will be something fabulous going on in every space we have.  From dancing on stage to cigars on the roof…we had to do that for Fred the ghost…he loved a good cigar.”
