Activities for the Day —- Family Fun Day

Come out on Saturday, June 17th at Lehigh County Athletic Fields - Cedar Creek Parkway West, on the corner of Broadway and Parkway Road from 8:30am – 8:30pm for a day filled with lots of softball, family fun activities, Moctail Mix-Off and much more!

Philadelphia Eagles' former kicker and 6 time NFL Pro Bowler David Akers will be joining the festivities!

Get ready to lace up your cleats (non metal required) and grab those softball gloves, the 13th (yes hard to believe our 13th year) annual tournament is scheduled and we are making plans for another great fun filled day for everyone. To facilitate our planning, we conducted a survey, this year there will be a Friday night VIP reception for our $500, $750 and $1000 sponsors. with David Akers, place kicker for the Philadelphia Eagles. David's talks are very motivational, and inspiring.

Join your family and friends as you come out to enjoy the games, the silent auction and many more events. All conducted in the honor and memory of a special individual, Justin Sheftel.

SCHEDULE

David Akers, place kicker for the Philadelphia Eagles will be involved with  a Free Spots clinic. There will be two sessions: Session One:   12:30-1:30 for the Hihg School Athletes and Session Two: 2pm to 3pm for the Middle School Athletes.  To sign up go to justinsheftel.com/sports-clinic

Silent Auction - 10:30am to 3:30pm
Come bid on spectacular sports memorabilia, Lehigh Valley restaurant vouchers and so much more! All proceeds go to the Justin Sheftel Memorial Fund. Tournament Merchandise will also be sold during this time. At 5:00 winners can pick up their prizes


Group Photo –  11:15am

Always one of the favorite moments of the tournament for everyone involved, the group picture! David Akers will be speaking to the group!


Mocktail Event –  2:15
Look for the tent with the Mixolgists hard at work creating their Mocktails. This event is sponsored by Red Robin, with 4 mixologist and 4 special guest judges! Click on the Mocktail tab to learn more about the event, judges and Mixologists. This year we are very excited as Keith Groller will be returning as the emcee, can’t wait to see the competition and hear Keith’s take on the concoctions.



50/50 Raffle - 12:00 – 7:00  
Every hour between this time, 4 tickets will be drawn to win a prize. The final drawing right before the men’s championship game to see who takes home the big prize, the raffle dollars! Last year the winner took home $600.


Great food available all day!

  • Kona Ice will be there to serve something cold and refreshing.

  • Trixie’s Treats will be there for an am fix and to grab some sweets for the days, cupcakes are amazing.

  • We are really excited to have Vince’s Cheesesteaks returning this year, try a Philly Cheesesteak from with a Lehigh Valley twist!

  • Very happy to have a selection of Hot Dogs on hand from Hildy’s, also serving some healthy wraps and salads.

Family Friendly Activities - 11:00 to 2:00 

  • Speed pitch contest, see how fast you can throw the ball. Prizes will be awarded, free to all.

  • Tie dying: Free for children 11 and under, 12 and over $10 for shirt, tie dying free.

  • Dunk tank, with special guests as part of the dunking experience, come and throw some balls at your favorite! Charge 3 balls for $1.00.

  • Photo Booth, 11-2 — free to all, come and have a fun picture taken with your friends and family.

  • Whole Foods will be offering two games Genga and Corn Toss try your luck and taste their healthy treats

Lehigh Valley Acura, Honda & Hyundai
