2013 Citizens' Academy

City of Bethlehem

Registration open through Tues., April 2

Bethlehem, Pa. - (March 19, 2013) - Two-weeks remain to register for the City of Bethlehem 2013 Citizens’ Academy. Registration will remain open through Tuesday, April 2 for the spring 2013 course.
Classes will begin at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the Town Hall Rotunda at 10 East Church Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.

City of Bethlehem residents who are interested in applying for the Citizens’ Academy program may do so online by visiting www.bethlehem-pa.gov/about/citizensacademy/ or by calling 610-865-7100. The program is limited to a total of 25 students.

The Citizens’ Academy offers city residents who are interested in becoming more involved in local government and its activities, the opportunity to learn more about what city government does, and offers direct insight to the various city operations. The program seeks to increase transparency in the way the City operates, while at the same time, begin to develop closer relationships between the city of Bethlehem residents and City Hall, through mutual understanding and cooperation.
Registration and classes are free.
