Simon Cowell is on the mend after the TV mogul fell off his electric bike Saturday and was rushed to the hospital with a broken back. He did break his back in three places which was followed by several hours of surgery where docs placed a metal rod in his spine. He is recovering well and tweeted last night “Some good advice… If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time”.
Since this whole Ellen mistreating her staff thing came to light, people have been coming out of the woodwork about past encounters with the TV and comedian. Waitress Chris Farah was was working at a vegan restaurant in LA when Ellen came in with wife Portia and when she waited on them Ellen reportedly noticed the waitresses nail polish was chipped then proceeded to write the restaurant to have her fired or suspended for two weeks without pay. The waitress chose to quit rather than be suspended. Yikes!
