February 29, 2020: Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled. And many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. April 5th, 2020: To raise awareness and spotlight suicide prevention, Lehigh Carbon Community College has partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to sponsor an Out of the Darkness campus walk on Sunday, April 5, on the Schnecksville campus.

Check in will start at 10 a.m. in the Community Services Center, and the walk will begin at 11 a.m. The route will take walkers around the rural Schnecksville campus. Fee to sign up is $10. All proceeds from the walk will go to the Lehigh Valley chapter of AFSP, supporting research, educational programs, public policy changes and support for survivors of suicide loss. July 18th, 2020: Celebrate 100 years of Wilson Pride! The Borough of Wilson was incorporated into a borough on July 12, 1920 and was named after President Woodrow Wilson.The borough celebrated its rich history with a Golden Jubilee in 1970 and a Diamond Jubilee in 1995.
