August 22, 2020: West Penn Fire Company is hosting a Festival Fundraiser from 10am-4pm. All proceeds benefit the fire house. There will be retail and food vendors, a D.J., games, rides, petting zoo, pony rides and hay rides. The event is on three separate sites spanning a 1/4 mile distance in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
August 22, 2020: LVWFR was created to not only bring the first yearly recovery walk to the area but also to provide a space for the community to come together and celebrate recovery and advocate for recovery as well. Much of the focus has been of the overdose epidemic but the Lehigh Valley has a thriving recovery community. The walk committee has partnered with Easton and Phillipsburg to put this event on.

August 29, 2020: Lehigh Valley Zoo announced it will be hosting its second annual Zoocoustic Night on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The fundraising event features a variety of live musical performances throughout the Zoo as well as wine tasting from local wineries. A variety of food, beer, wines, seltzers and ciders will also be available for purchase. Guests will be able to tour the zoo afterhours, when the animals are most active and enjoying their dinner meals. Ticket and event information is available at . Early-bird pricing is $25/adult and $15/child when purchased by Aug. 21. Afterwards, tickets cost $35/adult and $20/child up to the event date. For LV Zoo Members, tickets prices are $20/adult and $10/child. All proceeds of the event go towards the Zoo’s conservation mission of saving species and creating a greener future.
