May 3rd, 2020: St John’s United Church of Christ in Slatington is holding their 23rd Annual Basket Social at Diamond Fire Company in Walnutport. This event draws up to 400 partipants bidding on over 200 donation filled baskets. This event enables the church family to host a free community Thanksgiving dinner, support local food banks and host community projects as well as local gatherings. July 18th, 2020: Celebrate 100 years of Wilson Pride! The Borough of Wilson was incorporated into a borough on July 12, 1920 and was named after President Woodrow Wilson.The borough celebrated its rich history with a Golden Jubilee in 1970 and a Diamond Jubilee in 1995.

August 22nd, 2020: LVWFR was created to not only bring the first yearly recovery walk to the area but also to provide a space for the community to come together and celebrate recovery and advocate for recovery as well. Much of the focus has been of the overdose epidemic but the Lehigh Valley has a thriving recovery community. The walk committee has partnered with Easton and Phillipsburg to put this event on.

February 5, 2021, Riverbend will be celebrating its 5th Night to Shine. We have the opportunity with partnering with churches around the world hosting around 100,000 honored guests through the support of 200,000 volunteers!
