Christkindlmarkt Bethlehem, the popular holiday festival that takes place at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, gets underway Fri., Nov. 16, 11 a.m.
During the six-weekend run, experience old-world charm while strolling the aisles of handmade works by 200 artists – including 48 new participants – with vendors coming from 20 states.
Twice recognized as one of the top holiday markets in the nation by Travel + Leisure, and as one of the top holiday markets in the world by USA Today Travel, Christkindlmarkt also showcases:
-Hot Glass Experience: Make your own blown-glass candy cane or ornament
-Handmade nutcrackers, ornaments and collectables by Germany’s Käthe Wohlfahrt
-New holiday spirits and wine tastings on Saturdays (ticket required)
-The heart-warming sounds of live holiday music
– Ice sculpting demonstrations
– Food vendors serving up European favorites like wienerschnitzel, goulash, sauerbraten and potato pancakes
